Ashley was 4 months old when she was rescued from a Puppy Mill in Ohio by a Japanese Chin Rescue. She spent 8 more months being passed around to 3 different foster families and was feeling anxious and wondering if she would find a spot to stay put. Her companions, Mike and Kelly Safarik found her listing on Petfinder.com. Ashley has now settled in with her forever home. She can get rid of her puppy suitcase because she is here to stay! Since having Ashley around the Safarik's feel as though she has enriched their lives a great deal. There is something to be said for a dog making a home happy! They are so proud of her and grateful that she is their dog and glad she was rescued from the horrors of Puppy Mills.
